Most of the white water rafting is in the Lehigh River in White Haven and Jim Thorpe call Whitewater Challengers and Pocono Whitewater Rafting. The Lehigh is dam released periodically.  Pine Creek Gorge above Wellsboro up North runs pretty good in the Spring. Not to say you can't find white water on South Main Street in Wilkes-Barre in the Springtime.
